Micro Technologies launches tracking system
New Delhi, June 5 (UNI) Micro Technologies, an IT-based security solutions developer, manufacturer and marketer, today launched Micro Buddy Tracking System (BTS).
The system is a location-based product geared towards delivering highly personalised services to the present generation of mobile telephony users.
''It offers a unique service that enables cell phone subscribers to share their real time location status and messages with their friends from mobile phone,'' a company statement said.
Using internet, Global Positioning System (GPS) and wireless data, the application automatically updates location of a user's buddies and displays the information directly on a map on the phone.
The system can be downloaded from the website www.microbts.net on an annual subscription fee of Rs 750.
Currently, Micro Technologies has 91 Micro Shoppes across the country which showcases all its products to buyers. Of the 91 POS, the company owns six shops, while the rest are franchised.
