Groundnut flat, sunflower, copra, karanji oils down

Mumbai, June 5 (UNI) Prices of spot groundnut raw today remained steady at Rs 705 on moderate demand, but sunflower refined, copra white, rice brand and karanji oils drifted lower on heavy selling pressure by stockists induced by weaker advice from producing centres, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange (BCE) said.

Sunflower refined, rice brand, copra white and karanji declined beween Rs five and Rs 15 on lack of fresh demand from bulk consumers.But refined palmolein, rapeseed refined and castor commercial gained by Rs five each on scattered bulk consumers demand.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnut bold, however, looked up by Rs 100 to Rs 4400 in line with edible oils.

Similarly, sesameseed whitish, castorseed Bombay and Disa varieties went up by Rs 600, Rs 20 and Rs 50 respecstively on heavy demand from milllers and lesser stocks, traders added.
