Circuit benches to function from July 7

Bangalore, Jun 5: The much awaited Circuit Benches established in Dharwad and Gulbarga will start functioning from July 7.

According to an official release by the Karnataka High Court, the Dharwad circuit bench will have jurisdiction of northern Karnataka districts of Bagalkot, Bellary, Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Uttara Kannada and Koppal, while the Gulbarga Bench will have its jurisdiction of Gulbarga, Raichur, Bijapur and Bidar.

Filing of new cases at these Circuit Benches will be permitted from July 7.
