Vani residents observe Rasta Roko for action against murderer

Nashik, Jun 4 (UNI) Residents of Vani town in Dindori taluka of the district today observed 'Rasta Roko' agitation demanding immediate invesigation and strict action against people responsible for the murder of former member of Dindori Panchayat Sammiti Ramesh Gangurda.

During the agitation on the Vani-Kalwan road, the agitators pelted stones, resulting in traffic blockade for some time.

However, the situation is under control now, police added.

It may be recalled that miscreants had attacked Mr Gangurde on last Friday night and he succumbed to his injuries on May 31.
