Three ultras gunned down in Chatra

Chatra, Jun 4 (UNI) Security forces today gunned down three CPI(Maoist) ultras, including a self-styled zonal commander of the outfit, in an encounter at Noukadih-Ledho village under Vashishtnagar-Zori police station area in the district.

Police said acting on a tip off a team comprising the district police and Central Reserve Police Force was sent to the area where in an exchange of bullets three of them were killed on the spot.

The ultras were identified as Ganeshi Ganjhu, Mahendra and Gulshan.

Besides, one carbine, a pistol, bullets police and naxal literature were recovered from the spot.
