Thane blast injures five

Thane, June 4 : A blast in the parking area of Gadkari Rangayatan theatre in Thane today injured five persons.

The blast took place this afternoon in the parking area. The entire place has been cordoned off, said local police.

Thane police officials has informed Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil that a police team has already reached the site to ascertain the nature of the blast, sources in the State Home Department said.
