Property dealer gets life for killing wife
New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) A city court today handed down life imprisonment to a property dealer, who plotted his wife's murder barely four months after their marriage.
The contract killer he hired to eliminate his wife also awarded the same punishment by the court.
Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Kumar had yesterday held the property dealer, Vijay Pal, and the henceman, Vinod, guilty under sections 302 (murder) and section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC for killing Vijay's 26-year-old wife Rajni on August 13, 2001, but had reserved its decision on the quantum of sentence till today.
