Police jawan and minor killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 4 (UNI) A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police and a minor were killed in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said a police constable Showkat Ahmad was critically wounded when he fell down from a running Gypsy at Badgam in the central Kashmir.

He was immediately shifted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura where he died.

A minor Zahid Ahmad Sheikh was killed on the spot when a tipper hit him in Ganaie Mohalla in the Badgam district.
