Notorious chain snatcher in police net

Hyderabad, Jun 4 (UNI) The city police today arrested a notorious chain snatcher and seized 950 gm of gold ornaments, a two-wheeler and a dagger from his possession.

On a tip off, a special police team laid a trap at Begum Bazaar and arrested Habeeb Abbas alias Karim who confessed to his crime.

Karim said he was involved in 54 incidents of chain snatching.

He also had house breaking and attempt-to-murder cases against him.
