MBA students arrested for stealing mobile phones
Bangalore, June 4 (UNI) Taking to stealing to sustain their luxurious lifestyle has landed two MBA students in the police net here today.
Police said Srikant Shetty of Dharwad and Umesh of Haveri were arrested on charges of breaking into a mobile phone store and decamping with 30 handsets and Rs 2,190 in cash two weeks ago.
The youth, studying in a city college, were found surreptitiously selling the stolen cellphones near Banashankari Complex and were nabbed by the police.
On questioning, they revealed that they took to stealing, whenever they fell short of money, to 'enjoy life.' The duo had been remanded to judicial custody, police added.
