Hilary Swank launches shingle 2S Films

Washington, June 4 : Hilary Swank has collaborated with producer Molly Smith to launch the shingle 2S Films and inked a two-year first-look pact with Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment.

Banner is putting together its debut slate, which includes two projects, based on novels that are potential starring vehicles for Swank, reports Variety.

The first film is 'You're Not You,' based on Michelle Wildgen's first novel, revolves around a woman suffering from a terminal illness and an aimless young woman who enters her life as a caregiver.

Swank and Smith are producing while Di Novi Pictures is in talks to co-produce.

The second film is 'Falling Out of Fashion,' based on the debut novel by Karen Yampolsky, revolves around a woman who leaves a Georgia hippie commune for New York City with dreams of becoming a magazine editor.

Both projects are out to writers.
