Foetus recovered in Kacha Shanti Nagar

Fatehgarh Sahib, Jun 4: A foetus was recovered from Kacha Shanti Nagar area of industrial town Mandi Gobindgarh of the district here, police said. The foetus, wrapped in a plastic bag and clothes, was found by some passersby yesterday when they noticed that some dogs were tearing away at the bag.

When they noticed some flesh with clothes, they became suspicious and on a close look saw the foetus.They immedaitely informed the police, which took the remaining parts of the foetus in its possession and registered a case. Police sources said that they were making enquiries from nearby hospitals and mid-wives in the area to track the parents.
