DYFI blocks train to protest petrol price hike
Kannur, Jun 4 (UNI) Kannur District Unit of the Democratic Youth Federation of India(DYFI) today blocked the Mangalore-Chennai Express train here to protest the price hike of petroleum products.
DYFI State Secretary T V Rajesh inaugurated the protest march this evening.
They also burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The train was stopped for about 30 minutes.
