CPI calls for strike in AP on June 6

Hyderabad, June 4 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) today announced a statewide hartal in Andhra Pradesh on June six to protest the hike in prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas.

In a statement here, CPI State Secretary K Narayana condemned the price hike and called for a general strike to protest the hike and demand its rollback.
