'Yatra.com' rated as best travel website
Bangalore, Jun 3 (UNI) 'Yatra.com' has been declared as the most used travel website in India by JuxtConsult, an independent online research and advisory organisation.
A brand usability study on Indian online travel companies had revealed that most customers preferred using 'Yatra.com' when it came to online travel bookings, a company release claimed here today.
Yatra.com Founder-CEO Dhruv Shringi said ''we are thankful to our customers for preferring to use yatra.com.'' The JuxtConsult had analysed internet usage dynamics, behaviour and website preferences of the consumers through a large scale 'online survey' with over 15,000 internet users in April 2008.
Within a short span of time after its launch in August 2006, 'Yatra.com,' had increased its revenue 40 times with an employee base touching 700.
The company had achieved a turnover of 120 million US Dollar in the financial year 2007-08 and was planning to achieve 250 million USD by end 2008, the release added.
