UT to give aid to needy child for heart surgery

Chandigarh, Jun 3 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration has launched a pilot project for providing financial assistance to the needy children who are suffering with congenital heart diseases for their surgery at PGI, Chandigarh.

As per the project, the Health Department will bear all expenses of the children suffering with congenital heart diseases.

Medical Officer, Paediatric Department, Government Multi Specialty Hospital, Sector-16, Dr Paramjit Singh, has been appointed as nodal officer for the smooth implementation of the scheme in the UT.
