Special facilities for 'sankrant' pilgrims at Vaishno Devi

Jammu, Jun 3 (UNI) After introducing the facility of paid 'darshans' for the pilgrims, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has started offering special facility to devouts coming to pay obeisance to Goddess Vaishnavi on every 'sankrant' (the first auspicious date of the bikrami month).

''The devotees, who visit the revered Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine on every 'sankrant' face hardships, following a rush. Therefore, the board authorities have planned to offer them special facilities,'' Chief Executive Officer (CEO) M K Diwedi told UNI.

''All such devotees will have to register themselves with the shrine board via prescribed form, which can be collected either in person from the central office of the board on any working days or downloaded from the website www.Maavaishnodevi.Org,'' he informed.
