Police arrest child trafficker, detains seven minor boys

Barrackpore, June 3 (UNI) Police today arrested an alleged child trafficker and detained seven minor boys from the Bangaon section of Eastern Railway in North 24 Parganas district.

Government Railway Police (GRP) sources said the child trafficker, along with the boys, were nabbed by some passengers of a Sealdah-bound Hasnabad local.

All the boys, belonging to minority communities, were picked up by the trafficker from South Bhebia under Basirhat police station.

Meanwhile, police started interrogation in the case, the sources said, adding that the accused as well as the children would be produced in the Sealdah court.
