Judges issue: PML N for Parliamentary resolution

{image-PML N-1_03062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Islamabad, Jun 3: The PML-N has clarified to the PPP that it won't accept judges' restoration through the proposed constitutional package, but only through a parliamentary resolution. Senior PML-N leader Nisar Ali Khan said this in Islamabad while talking to reporters after a party meeting.

Nisar said the PML-N had reiterated its demand of reinstatement of the sacked judges through a parliamentary resolution only. A special committee of PML-N will meet again today to discuss the proposed constitutional package, although its parliamentarians have opposed the PPP's move to restore the sacked judges through an amendment package.

PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif will chair the party meeting at the Punjab House. Meanwhile, PML-N has asked its party members to 'actively' participate in the June 10 long march.
