Opening, upgradation of schools withdrawn in Sirmaur

Nahan, Jun 3 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government has withdrawn all notifications regarding opening and upgrading of 43 schools and Sarahan College in Sirmaur district of the state, official sources today said.

''The previous government's notifications of opening or upgrading 43 schools, including 13 primary, 20 middle, four high and six senior secondary in the district have been withdrawn,'' sources told UNI here.

They said the notification of Sarahan College in Pachhad constituency of the district had also been withdrawn immediately after the BJP Government came to power.

Pachhad constituency in the district was the most affected where eight middle schools and 10 primary schools' notifications have been withdrawn.
