One killed as truck hits motorcycle

New Delhi, Jun 3 (UNI) A boy was killed and his brother seriously injured when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle in I P Extension area of east Delhi today.

Sanjay died on the spot after the speeding truck hit their motorcycle from behind while waiting at the Hasanpur red light, his brother Sanjiv received serious injuries, according to sources.

The boys were going towards Anand Vihar from Laxmi Nagar, they said.

Sanjiv has been admitted to Lal Bahadur Sashtri Hospital after sustaining multiple fractures, they said.

Even as the vehicle has been impounded the driver and helper of the truck are absconding, they added.
