Mysore to host ICDM-2008

Mysore, Jun 3 (UNI) A five-day International Conference on Discrete Mathematics (ICDM-2008) will be held here from June six.

An press release issued by the department of Mathematics University of Mysore said the main aim of ICDM-2008 was to bring together several leading discrete Mathematicians from all over the world.

The Conference would provide an opportunity to several researchers in discrete mathematics who work in different corners if our country to interact with these mathematicians.

Around 25 mathematicians from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Austria, Slovenia, Taiwan, Malaysia, China Hungary, South Korea, Singapore, Czech Republic and France, and about 250 Indian delegates were expected to participate in the conference.

The event was sponsored by University of Mysore and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
