Lightning kills five in K'taka

Bijapur, Jun 3 (UNI) Five people, including a girl, were killed when lightning struck in different places in Sindhgi taluk in the district today.

Police said four people were killed near Korahalli while a five year old girl died near Balagapur cross heavy rain accompanied by lightning lashed the area.

The victims were taking shelter under the trees when the lightning hit them.
