LDF Govt anti-labour: INTUC
Kottayam, Jun 3 (UNI) Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) State President R Chandrasekharan today charged the LDF Government with being anti-labour.
At a news conference here, he criticised the government for not announcing the labour policy even after coming out with the industrial policy.
The LDF Government in the state was a total failure in all areas and it cannot escape by blaming the Centre and describing the price increase as a global phenomenon.
Wrong policies of the government and the Food and Civil Supplies Department were responsible for the price increase, he charged.
The trade union leader also criticised the government for rampant thefts in the state and inaction on the part of the police in dealing with the crime.
Police was handling things with political discrimination, he charged.
Referring to the organisational matters in the state, he said all district committees and federations would be reorganised by June.
The State Camp of the INTUC would be held at Thiruvananthapuram on July four,five and six.
Navathy celebrations of Senior Leader K Karunakaran would be held at Ernakulam in July, he said.
