'ICDM-2008' from June six

Mysore, June 3 (UNI) A five-day International Conference on Discrete Mathematics (ICDM-2008) will be held here from June six.

According to a release here today, issued by the Department of Mathematics, University of Mysore, said the aim of the conference was to bring together several leading discrete mathematicians from all over the world.

Several researchers in discrete mathematics would get an opportunity to interact each other, it said.

Around 25 mathematicians from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Austria, Slovenia, Taiwan, Malaysia, China, Hungary, South Korea, Singapore, Czech Republic and France, including 250 Indian delegates, were expected to participate in the conference.

The event was sponsored by the University of Mysore and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the release added.
