Gurgaon declared as Municipal Corporation

Chandigarh, June 3 (UNI) The Haryana government has declared Municipal Council, Gurgaon, as Municipal Corporation Gurgaon.

In notification issued to this effect, the schedule of the area of Municipal Corporation Gurgaon has also been released, an official spokesman said today.

Schedule of boundaries for the Municipal Corporation, Gurgaon would be the boundary under Points ''A'' to ''F'' to ''A'' as marked in the drawing of Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex 2021 AD, he said.

Northern boundary of the Northern peripheral road intersecting the Delhi Haryana State boundary would start form Point ''A'' thence towards East along the Delhi Haryana Boundary up to point ''B'' which is North-West corner of Khasra No 2//21 of village Gwal Pahari, District Gurgaon.

The South and South East would start from point ''B'' and moving towards South along the western boundary of Khasra No.

2//21, 9//1, 9//10, 9//11, 9//20 min of village Gwal Pahari, District Gurgaon upto point B1 where it meets the Faridabad Gurgaon road and moving thence towards North and North-West along the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road up to point B2 where it intersects the Southern Peripheral Road.

Thence moving towards North-West along the Southern boundary of the Southern Peripheral Road upto Point ''C'' where it intersects the NH-8, thence moving towards South West along the South eastern boundary of NH-8 upto point ''D'' i.e. the intersection of NH-8 and Northern Peripheral Road, as shown in the Final Development Plan, Gurgaon Manesar Urban Complex, 2021.

The West and North West area would start from Point ''D'' and move towards North West and North along the North Western Boundary of Northern Peripheral Road upto Point ''E''--the intersection of Northern Peripheral Road and the existing municipal limit.

''It moves towards West and North and then towards East upto Point 'F' where it meets the North Western boundary of the North Peripheral Road. Thence, towards East along the Northern Boundary of the Northern Peripheral Road upto Point 'A' i.e. the starting point,'' he said.

The Northern Peripheral Road from A to D, Southern Peripheral road from B to C and part of Delhi-Jaipur National Highway between C and D would fall within the boundary of Municipal Corporation, Gurgaon.
