Centre restructuring CRI Kasauli: Dhumal
Shimla, Jun 3 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said the Centre had agreed to protect the interests of the employees of the Centre Research Institute (CRI) at Kasauli, which was being restructured to improve its functioning.
''The CRI is being restructured so as to improve its functioning and expand its facilities as it is one of the best research institute,'' he said quoting Union Health Minister A Ramdoss' letter.
Mr Dhumal said after his government raised the issue with the Centre, the Health Minister had informed the state government of its plan to restructure the institute.
The Union Health Ministry would also consider providing requisite training to the employees to upgrade their professional skills, he said.
