Boy succumbs to injuries in leopard attack

Kolhapur, Jun 3 (UNI) A ten-year-old boy, who was injured in a leopard attack at Danoli village in Shirol tehsil of the district, succumbed to his injuries here.

Prakash Patil, who had gone to his aunt's place for spending his summer vacations, was attacked by a leopard in a sugarcane field last week. He succumbed to his injuries yesterday at a hospital, police said today.

After the attack, forest officers laid a trap and caught the leopard, they added.
