Army chief visits BEL
Hyderabad, Jun 3 (UNI) Chief of the Army Staff General Deepak Kapoor today visited the College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME)and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) along with his wife Kirti Kapoor.
Immediately after arriving at the airport here, the Army Chief proceeded to visit the BEL in Nacharam Industrial Area where he was received by BEL Chairman and Managing Director V V R Sastry.
After the visit, the General event to MCEME where he was introduced to senior officers.
He was then briefed by the Commandant on the various facets of the College.
The General showed keen interest and appreciated the various projects and training aids developed by the college.
He was shown various simulators developed by the Simulator Development Division, the nodal agency for design and development of specified simulators in the Army, an official release said.
