Zila Parishad, Panchayat Samitis Members take oath on Jun 5

Ludhiana, Jun 2 (UNI) The newly-elected members of Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samitis from all the districts of the state will be administered the oath of office at a function being organized on June 5 at Grain Market Salim Tabri here.

Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will administer the oath and Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats Ranjit Singh Brahmpura will preside over the function.

Around 2500 newly elected members of Zila Parishads and Panchayat Samiti from all the districts of the state would take the oath of the office that day.
