Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 2 (UNI) A local court today sentenced a 30-year-old woman and her brother to life imprisonment for murdering the former's father-in-law last year.
District and sessions court judge P Y Kale found Sunita Kale and her brother Subhash Jagannath Wapre (28) guilty of murdering Ambadas Kale under section 302 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and awarded the sentence. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 each.
According to prosecution, Sunita Kale used to run a mess in Sillod tehsil of the district. To which, her father-in-law had objected. This led to frequent quarrels between Ambadas and Sunita.

On the basis of a complaint lodged by Ambadas' daughter, Kalpana Suradkar, police registered a case and arrested Sunita and Subhash.
