Three militants arrested in Kashmir
Srinagar, June 2 (UNI) Three militants were arrested by security forces in north Kashmir today, a police spokesman said.
He said a militant identified as Youns Ahmad Mir, a resident of Bemina, was arrested along with one grenade, and 50 rounds during naka checking at Shamaswari in the down town city today along with recovered from his possession.
He said acting on a tip-off, Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and 29 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a joint operation at Pattan in Baramulla district following information about the presence of militants.
During the operation,the security forces arrested two militants Mohammad Shameem and Khaleel Mohammad Mir.
One 7.62 mm pistol, one magazine, ten rounds of ammunition and ten grenades were recovered from their possession.
