Teacher robbed of Rs 1 lakh

Gorakhpur, June 2 (UNI) Two motorcycle-borne miscreants robbed a school teacher of Rs one lakh in the Gorakhnath area here today.

The incident took place in broad daylight near Dharmshala bridge, when Santosh Singh was returning home after withdrawing money from the Union Bank.

The criminals intercepted him near the bridge and fled with the money bag.

A case was registered and a manhunt launched.
