Sonia's visit in MP town cancelled

Bhopal, Jun 2 (UNI) The proposed one-day tour of Indian National Congress Party Chairman Sonia Gandhi to address a rally in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district on June 9 or 10 has been cancelled.

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Suresh Pachouri said in a joint press conference with leader of opposition in Assembly Ms Jamuna Devi here today that the tour was cancelled in the view of confirmation of African National Party delegates' arrival coninciding her tour.

''Ms Gandhi will decide the next date later,'' he added.
