Rajasthan govt must accept Gujjar's demand: Uma
Mandsaur, MP, June 2 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) president Uma Bharti today said the Rajasthan government should be sensitive towards Gujjars and accept their demand for reservation.
''The demand for reservation by Gujjars is completely legitimate,'' Ms Bharti told reporters here.
Taking a dig at the Centre for rising inflation, the 'sadhvi' said it has made life difficult for people. However, adding that the state governments could have at least controlled prices of essential goods but failed to do so.
Referring to drought situation in Bundelkhand division, Ms Bharti said poor people must be provided wheat at Rs three per kg even if they did not come under BPL list.
