Major fire in city

Mumbai, June 2 (UNI) A major fire brokeout in the Kamani Oil company at Lalbaug in south-central Mumbai today.

Fire brigade sources said the fire engulfed the Oil company at Peru compound at 1315 hrs.

Twelve fire engines, five water tankers and an ambulance were pressed into service and the fire-fighting operations were still underway.

There were no reports of any casualty so far and the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
