Low intensified blast creates panic in Surat

Surat, June 2: Panic prevailed in the city when a object suspected to be a bomb exploded near a garden in Adajan area of the city, police said.

Miscreants had kept explosives items in an oil can which exploded at around 2230 hrs last night.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident. Police have collected samples from the spot for forensic tests. Police are awaiting the report to know material used in the blast.
