Criminal escaped from police custody
Kanpur, June 2 (UNI) A criminal booked under Narcotic Act duped police and escaped its captivity when he was being taken for hearing in a court here today.
According to a senior superintendent of police (SSP) A K Singh, Harbans Mohal police yesterday held Rajesh Mali.
However, he duped the police and fled from the court compound.
A police constable and homeguard have been suspended over the same.
Investigation was on.
