BSF arrests six smugglers, recovers fake currency

Shillong, June 2 (UNI) The 29 Battalion of BSF yesterday recovered fake Indian currency of Rs 31,600 and arrested six persons.

BSF sources today said the smugglers were arrested from Dhubri district of Assam and Rs 31,600 was seized from them. Four notes of 1000 denomination of the Indian currency were fake.

All the arrested were handed over to the police in Assam along with the seized currency.

An investigation was on, sources stated.
