Abducted boy rescued

Morena, MP, June 2 (UNI) A four-year-old boy, who was abducted for ransom from this district, has been rescued and five people, including two women, arrested in this connection, police said today.

Lalit Jatav was rescued from Buddipura village when abductors had arrived to collect ransom.

Lalit was abducted on May 19. He was held captive at Damoh.

His abductors had demanded a ransom of Rs five lakh from his family members through SMS but had agreed to release him for Rs 1.5 lakh.
