UPA failed to control price hike: ABVP
Hubli, Jun 1 (UNI) Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) national secretary G Laxman today alleged that the UPA government had failed to control the price hike of essential commodities.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the Centre had also failed to stop increasing terrorist activities and farmers' suicide in the country.
The Centre's economic policies were the main reasons for the farmers' suicides, he added.
He said the recent announcement of Rs 71,000 crore loan waiver would not reach the farmers as they had taken loans from commercial banks and private money lenders.
The UPA government was not taking any concrete steps against the infiltration of terrorists from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal, he added.
