Pondy experiences shortage of petrol, diesel

Puducherry, Jun 1 (UNI) Selling of ordinary petrol and diesel was stopped by petrol bunks in the Union Territory due to the short supply.

According to petrol bunk employees here today, only 'Speed' and 'Premium' petrol and 'Turbo' diesel are available with the bunks, for which the consumers will have to pay a higher price.

Long queues were seen in front of several petrol bunks here.
