Orientation programme on budget for MLAs on June 4

Panaji, June 1 (UNI) A one-day orientation programme on Budget Committee for MLAs of Goa Legislative Assembly, will be held on June 4, at the State Legislative Assembly building in Porvorim.

Goa Assembly Speaker Pratapsingh Rane will inaugurate the programme, while leader of the Opposition Mr Manohar Parrikar will deliver the valedictory address.

Dr Subhash C Kashyap, former Secretary General, Lok Sabha and Member Secretary, Constitution Review Commission, Prof Govinda Rao, Director, National Institute of Public Policy and Finance, New Delhi and Dr Jaijit Bhattacharya, Director (Country planning), Sun Micro System, New Delhi will also address the legislators on the occasion, Goa Legislative Assembly Secretary R Kothanndaraman stated.
