1 percent seat reserved for Kashmiri migrants

Chandigarh, June 1: The Haryana Government has reserved one seat for Kashmiri migrants in each discipline of Diploma Level Engineering, Pharmacy and Management courses in each institution in the state.

Similarly, one seat in each discipline of Diploma Level Engineering courses has also been reserved for Haryana Government school toppers of the year 2008.

Stating this here today, Technical Education Director MP Gupta said the candidates seeking admission under Kashmiri migrants category would be required to submit the attested copies of the original certificate of migration duly signed by the competent authority or relief commissioner.

Similarly, those seeking admission under Haryana Government school topper category, would be required to submit a certificate in support of their claim from the principal or headmaster of the government school of which the candidate was topper clearly stating the strength of class, said Mr Gupta.
