Minister blames administrators for temple robberies
Palakkad, Jun 1 (UNI) Kerala Cooperation Minister G Sudhakran today alleged that temple robberies were taking place due to the ''carelessness'' of the administrators.
Inaugurating Malabar Devaswom Employees Union's State Conference here, he alleged that though the government had suggested many security measures, none of them was implemented by the temple administrators.
Mr Sudhakaran said the proposed Malabar Devaswom Board would come into existence soon.
Refuting the argument that the corruption rate would come down if the number of Devaswom Board members were reduced, he alleged that ''corruption was rampant'' in the Travancore Devaswom Board, where there were only three members.
