De Niro 'terrified' of living in Los Angeles

London, June 1 : Robert De Niro says that he is terrified of living in Los Angeles because he considers is to be a company town.

The 'Goodfellas' star said that he would always prefer being a New Yorker to living in Los Angeles.

He even said that he did not think Detroit was fit to have him as a resident.

"There is always a fear of something and Hollywood is mine," British tabloid The Sun quoted him as saying.

"I never lived there. I'm a New Yorker and I would rather live in New York. LA is a company town. It is like Washington or like Detroit is for the auto industry. It's not for me," he added.
