Coalition partners cannot befool the masses: NC
Jammu, Jun 1 (UNI) The opposition National Conference today said both the Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been ''exposed'' and the people of Jammu and Kashmir are waiting for an opportunity to bring back Dr Farooq Abdullah as the next Chief Minister of the state.
Speaking at a public meeting here this evening, National Conference provincial president (Jammu province) Ajay Sadhotra said, ''The people of Jammu still remember the Kandhar episode and the role of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), which aggravated the militancy in the state,'' adding, ''rise in militancy and unemployment are the problem babies of the Congress regime, which have made people suffer.'' However, charging the PDP of raising sentimental slogans, Mr Sadhotra said, the PDP has always raised sentimental hollow slogans and the latest slogan of introducing Pakistan currency in Jammu and Kashmir is alarming and people of the state must frustrate the evil designs of such forces.
