15 IPS officers transferred

Bhopal, Jun 1 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government transferred 15 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers including eight Inspector General of Police (IGs) and seven Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGs) in the state last nigh.

A government spokesperson said IG (Law and order) Rishi Kumar is now IG (Special Task Force, PHQ), while IG (Jabalpur range) B K Singh has been shifted to PHQ in place of Mr S R Krishna, who would be IG (Jabalpur range).

Director (JNPA, Sagar) B M Kumar has been posted as chief staff officer at PHQ here.

IG Vijay Kumar has been posted as IG (Personnel, PHQ). IG (Narcotics) Vijay Yadav and IG (SAF, PHQ) I S Chouhan swapped places. IG (Intelligence) Sanjeev Kumar Singh has been shifted as IG (Law and order, PHQ).

Meanwhile, seven DIG-level officials were transferred.
