Train hits vehicle, 2 killed

Jaunpur, May 31 (UNI) A woman and a girl, were killed and four injured after the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a running train at an unmanned railway crossing in Jalalpur area here today.

The accident occurred near Dingrapur village, where Howrah-Amritsar Express, en route from Varanasi to Jafrabad, hit the vehicle, police said.

The deceased included a 55-yr-old woman and an eight-year-old girl.

The injured were to hospital, where two were stated to be critical.
