Sleepy TMT employees suspended

Thane, May 31 (UNI) Thirteen Thane Municipal Transport (TMT) employees have been suspended after they were caught sleeping on duty by newly elected TMT chairman Jitendrakumar Indise.

Mr Indise, who is around 30, took over as chairman only one month back and has resolved to rid the TMT of its ills.

Talking to UNI, Mr Indise said he is committed to provide better services to the lakhs of commuters in the city.

Meanwhile, the TMT will soon include five new low-floor buses in its fleet.
